It was wonderful to give a lecture to Nanking University students for one week. Most of them were 1st and 2nd year undergraduates equipped with a reasonable proficiency of English.

It was quite a shock to me since I have seen Peiking and Shanghai in January 1991. It was complete change and I felt like being in different city. I thought about those veterans of the Korean War claimed it was a miracle after seeing Seoul in the 1980s.
Of course joyful reunion with Dr Lee of the ILO and Prof. Han of Peiking University.

You have to use keiryuutabi (渓流足袋）to climb up the mountain along the streams. Master of fishing in the mountain, Prof. Hattori caught big, big fish that day!!!
